Rob Fleming started his career in computer technology over 20 years ago as a online enthusiast on the BBS networks. In those days computers, parts and service were extremely expensive, and if you didn't have a lot of money you either learned to repair your computer or you had a friend do it for you. After crashing his 3rd computer Robert went to the local community college in Long Beach California and took some basic computer courses. This opened the door to wanting to learn more and more, and after spending 20 months he earned an AA Degree in Computer Technology. Rob soon found that he needed an edge to compete in the technical arena, and he soon found that Microsoft offered certifications in various technologies. After taking and earning his first 2 MCP'S (Microsoft Certified Professional) he landed a position as a technical support manager at a Major stocks investment company; Investors Business Daily. This was the ticket to learning more, and soon Robert had earned 3 more MCP'S. To date Rob holds a B.A degree in M.I.S. from California State University, Los Angeles, and a degree in Information Technology from California Institute of Technology. Rob also has earned a total of 10 Microsoft certifications and 2 certifications from Dell. His resume includes IT Administrative & Technical positions at Land America, 3M Unitek, McKesson Pharmaceuticals, IBM, and MicroDyne to name only a few.

Today Boyne City PC's current customer base includes: The State of Michigan, Pepsi Cola Corporation, Wal-Mart, The U.S. Department of Agriculture, and many local, large and small business in and around the Northern Michigan area, and United States.
